I Toon and Maria Schaub clinch the Washington International Horse show Tad Coffin Performance Saddles Equitation Classic Finals

(Washington, DC) – October 13, 2007 – The Washington International Horse Show (WIHS), a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization benefiting local and regional non-profit organizations, concluded the Washington International Horse Show Equitation division tonight.

The division, sponsored by Tad Coffin Performance Saddles, took place over the course of two nights and consists of three separate phases. The first phase was a Hunter class, the second was a Jumper class and the final phase was a second Jumper class, with riders required to switch horses to prove their skill.

After the first two rounds, Maria Schaub led the competition with 175.57 points, while Molly Braswell and Tina Dilandra were second and third respectively. Riders were required to switch horses during the third round, putting their equitation skills to the test. Maria Schaub proved worthy, receiving first place on I Toon. Tina Dilandri, on R.S.V.P., and Tatiana Dzavik, riding Littlefoot, received second and third, respectively.
