Looking Back: At the 1968 Washington International Horse Show, General William C. Westmoreland, Army Chief of Staff, joined Mr. Austin Kiplinger to present the President of the United States Perpetual Cup to Jared Brinsmade, 21, of Bethany, Conn., winner of the President's Cup Grand Prix. Brinsmade, a member of the USET, rode Triple Crown, then on loan to the USET by Sam Lehrman.
