The Washington International Horse Show, a championship event with leading riders, Olympic veterans and superstar horses from the U.S. and abroad, will celebrate its 50th anniversary during 2008. Throughout the show, sponsors will reach an educated and affluent population passionate about horses and horse sports.

World-class competition, such as the $100,000 Gerald R. Ford President’s Cup Grand Prix, the WIHS Dressage Invitational Grand Prix and the WIHS Equitation Classic, is the mainstay of the show. Rounding out this six-day horse fest are a variety of other unique and entertaining events, like the Puissance, a horse high-jumping competition, the thrilling terrier races and the Pony Pavilion, where youngsters can pet and ride ponies.

Between classes, attendees can browse and shop at more than 60 specialty vendors offering wares from saddlery and riding apparel to jewelry and home decor, or make a bid for more than 75 unique items in the Silent Auction.

The Washington International Horse Show is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization benefiting local and national charities.

Held in Washington, D.C., at the Verizon Center, one of the premiere sporting venues in the country, the 49th Washington International Horse Show offers you a highly visible opportunity to access a desirable audience for your marketing message.

Join us this year for great sport, great fun and a great opportunity to showcase your company and products!
